Happy Thanksgiving!

I am home - finally! for the holidays, although I am spending my day off packing for Copenhagen!  If there are any quilters in Copenhagen, I would love to connect while I am there (sat@quilterstv.com).  I will be attending the Copenhagen for two of our other networks; Choosing Green and the Bonobo Conservation Initiative!  Now you know why you see ads for bonobos on QTV!  I am a board member and some of the work BCI has done in the Congo that I am most proud of is delivering sewing machines to villages that have zero source of income.  Getting them started with sewing has helped them get back on their feet after generations of dictatorship and brutal wars.  I am thankful today that there are groups in the world such as the Bonobo Conservation Initiative, and people like Sally Coxe who are taking the leadership roles in getting the job done.  BCI and Sally Coxe are being acknowledged at the Copenhagen Climate Conference for having secured a piece of land about the size of Connecticut in the Congo that will preserve the villages for the people who live there, the indigenous animals that need the forest to survive, and the planet that needs the land and tree mass to absorb the carbon expelled into the air!

Wishing you all a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving Day and know that I am thankful for you viewership and your support!

Sincerely,

Sue Ann Taylor
